Reading the Biological Opinionfor Effects to Northern Spotted Owls (Strix occidentalis caurina) …. I came on this sentiment in section 2.4.1 Habitat-Specific Needs of the Spotted Owl.

What?  Where is the HUGE IMPACT OF LOGGING mentioned?  Nowhere.  They mention the need to protect the owl against forest fires… get rid of the fuels.  Logging!

Give me a freaking break.
